Mitsubishi i Miev

The Mitsubishi ‘i’ is the most efficient passenger vehicle in North America, rated at 112 MPGe. The ‘i’ is powered by a 47kW AC synchronous motor and a 16-kWh Li-ion battery pack. Depending on driving conditions, the ‘i’ will travel 45 to 75 miles on a single charge. The ‘i’ will recharge in 12-16 hours from a standard outlet, 6-8 hours on a 220V EVSE, and 80% in 30 minutes from a DC fast charger. The iMiEV is currently available in Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, and Europe and the US. Before tax credits, the US ‘i’ will be $29,125 for the ES model and $31,125 for the SE model.
